News for current bus riders:
The deduction for Bus Card Plus charges for September was delayed and was taken out of your November 23, 2007 paycheck.
The deduction for Bus Card Plus charges for October was delayed and was taken out of your January 4, 2008 paycheck.
The deduction for Bus Card Plus charges for November was delayed and was taken out of your February 15, 2008 paycheck.
The deduction for Bus Card Plus charges for December was delayed and will be taken out of your March 14, 2008 paycheck.
The deduction for Bus Card Plus charges for January was delayed and will be taken out of your April 11, 2008 paycheck.
The deduction for Bus Card Plus charges for February will be deducted when available at a later date.
Delays are due to the fact that the new fare boxes are not interfacing with Phoenix Transit and the Bus Card Plus billing system.

Riding The Bus
Effective April 24, 2008, the
current bus subsidy of 65% will be reduced to 50%.
What This Means for Local Bus
Riders:
Your current per ride cost is
.44 cents and will change to .63 cents.
Your current monthly maximum is
$15.75 and will change to $22.50.
What This Means for
Express/Rapid Bus Riders:
Your current per ride cost is
.61 cents and will change to .88 cents.
Your current monthly maximum bus
is $23.80 and will change to $34.00.
You are only charged for the rides you
take. To obtain an application, see your personnel representative or
download the online application here. Once you complete the actual Bus
Card Plus application, return it to your personnel office. In a week or
two, your personnel representative will contact you to arrange for you
to pick up your card at your agency personnel office. Questions?
